Text Box: Sherry Wallace (Sea Shell Shelties) enjoyed a terrific win at the Sheltie National in April. The bitch she co-bred, Ch. Rosmoor Rapture went Best of Opposite. Congratulations Sherry on the huge win!

Mary Bryant (Crosswood Shelties) was also at the Sheltie National with her young Ireland Crosswood Volaré Amoré. also she was very excited to see him take 4th in a huge 12-18 month AOAC class. 

Barb Babcock’s (Starstruck Yorkshire Terriers) Starstruck Wine Me Dine Me, aka "Kendall" took Bred-By-Exhibitor Best In Show at the Columbia show in Aiken and then received a major at the Myrtle Beach show. Congratulations to Barb on her “special” win. 

 ******Juniors Corner******
Nadine  Fisher is number one  in chinese shar-pei! And she just took a Best Junior in Show in May. Nadine and her sharp-pei “Moon” have only attended 6 shows this year.

Kelsey Martin had a nice Best Junior win at the sheltie specialty in Charlotte with her sheltie “Coupe.”  She had a great time at the Sheltie National. It was her first national and she really learned a lot. 

Congratulations to our Juniors. We are all very proud of you.

Text Box: We hope you will join us at the June meeting. A movie will be shown "War Dogs of the Pacific," which was arranged by a Dobie owner for the Dobie National and 50th anniversary.  It has been purchased by Animal Planet for future showing.

The June 23 meeting will be in Ashby Hall, Room 204. which is in the front of campus and is the building to the right of the flag poles as you enter campus by the main gate.

 

We will be voting for the location of the July 28th meeting, choices are Gilligan's in Goose Creek and Benito Brick Oven Pizza in Mt. Pleasant

Text Box: 2010 Show information:
-Judges committee,  Annette Howe, Brenda Naylor, and Ricki Silveria state that all judges have responded and they are even getting the judges board together for 2011. They have done fantastic work at getting it together.
-The catalog committee is accepting ads for the 2010 show. We are looking for new champion and  new potential announcements; or if you have earned a big award; or would like to announce thanks to a judge or  an owner/handler. We will accept ads from pet shops, groomers, kennels, veterinarians, pet photographers; or basically anything that has to do with pets and animals. With the exception that absolutely no puppy for sale ads are permitted! Contact Ricki Sylvaria (884-8586)  or Cheryl Hatcher (814-0726). 
-Please contact Valery Neiman-Grieder about sponsoring a trophy or if you are donating something specific for your breed.

The club is requesting ideas for what to do for Junior’s in 2010.

Linda Hendrix has had surgery and is doing well if anyone wants to drop her a line.
