James Island County Park will hold “Yappy Hour” on Thursday, October 15, 4-7pm. Dogs are invited to bring their owners for walk, music and drinks. Free with general park admission. 843-795-4386.

Once again the Palmetto Cavalier Club is having heart and eye clinics.  The date will be October 17 and all breeds are welcome.  Pre-registration is strongly advised.  Information on the clinics can be found at http://palmettockcsc.org/calendar.html or contact Cathy Chisholm at 843 557-0014
Heart (auscultation) and eye exams will be at a cost of $30 and $25.  Additionally an echocardiogram/ Doppler clinic will be conducted by Dr. Josh Gildlewski at a cost of $215.  For the echo an appointment must be scheduled through Pam Taub (843 524-6872)  For the other exams - show up early and be worked in.
Text Box: Linda Hendrix is pleased to share that her Tibetan Spaniel Lin Chi Wild Angel from TuQute (Dixie) was Winners Bitch and went on to BOW and BOB for a 5 point major at the Sawnee Mountain Kennel Club of Georgia show.
 
A boy from her February litter, "Jack" (Lin Chi TuQute Seven Card Stud) went reserve to the major on Saturday and Sunday at the Atlanta and Newnan Kennel Club shows this weekend.
 
She has a new litter of Tibetan Spaniels...2 boys and one girl born last Thursday (the 17th).  Proud mother is SuSu (Hisown Lin Chi Touch of Satin) and proud father is her Skylar (Ch. Lin Chi Parti on Cloud Nine).

Missy Springer’s Australian Shepherd, Morgan received her Excellent Agility Jumpers Title in July. She has since then competed in a trial, in Pittsburgh, PA and won her Excellent Standard A class. She also was #1 Australian Shepherd in Novice A Jumpers for 2008.

On September 12, 2009 at the Moore County Kennel Club Dog Show, Mary Bryant's 8 month old homebred Sheltie bitch, Crosswood Snow Angel By A Misty Moon aka "Misty" took BPIS at her very first show! Misty is now BPIS Crosswood Show Angel By A Misty Moon.
